The steps to get reasonably accurate weight for your sharks are as follows:

1.  Measure the Total Length            

2.  Measure the Girth                    Weight  = Total Length x Girth Squared

3.  Now, square the total girth.                                        800

4.  Multiply by the Total length.

5.  Divide your total by 800 and you have your weight.
