Jason, Sef and myself decided to head down the beach on a pre-Thanksgiving trip this morning. We left town around
5:00 and were at our spot around 7:30.

The beach was absolutely flat.
We started off trying to catch some bait which proved harder than we figured with all the mullet
around. Right off the bat Jason picks up this Sharpnose on live mullet.

We finally manage to pick up a couple decent baits and start deploying. Shortly thereafter I hook up on a
nice fish.

Me with a 6'8" Sandbar

The action slowed down through midday with a couple more runs and misses but bait was still hard to come by. We were
having to reuse most of our baits. A couple of hours later and I hook up again on another nice fish.

Another 6'8" Sandbar, almost identical.

The runs really started to get consistent with every rod getting nailed. Sef picks up this shark which I am having a
tough time identifying but was positively identified as a Blacknose.

A couple more small ones and Jason lands this 5"2" blacktip while he, Sef and myself are all hooked up on
our first beach triple header.

I picked up this 4"2" blacktip after releasing Jason's tipper.

We had another great day with 7 sharks landed, tagged and released. Many more runs and landed half a dozen bluefish
and a nice Spanish Mackeral. Hard to beat conditions like today, had a great time as always with Jason and Sef.
