Here are
the pictures from
the trip. We
went to the
20 and met
up with some
members of Team
Backlash. It was
a nice day
at the beach
with promising surf
conditions. They surf
was a comfortable
two to three
foot with sandy
green water all
the way to
the beach.
Luckily the light norther that blew
in a couple
days before had
pushed the weed
off shore. Backlash
had already landed
three bt's
by the time
we arrived and
when we got
there at about
three we went
bait deploy crazy.
The only bait
we could catch
was whiting on
shrimp/fishbite combo
and we had
a nice double
hook up with
team BackLash. They
landed a 5'10 and we
lost ours at
the third sand
bar. The first
shark landed was
Josh's 5'5 blacktip on
a whole whiting.
Next up
was Hunter with
a slot red
on cut bait
in the wade
gut, it was
his first to
date, believe it
or not. After
that we had
one more run
right after dark
and I landed
this nice 5'8 blacktip on
whiting again.
It started
to cool off
pretty quickly after
the sun went
down so we
packed up and
headed home. All
sharks were released
to fight another
day, thanks to
backlash for throwing
us some bait.

points for the
team but Josh
caught his second
shark to date
and it was
another successful injury
free trip.
